Dropout Savers

Helix BMX Dropout Savers are CNC machined from heat treated, aircraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy billet.  They are then tumble finished to remove any sharp edges. They are designed to be used "as is", however given their raw aluminum finish, they are easily anodized, polished, or painted.

The backside of each Dropout Saver has a slotted protrusion that extends into the dropout to locate the axle and protect the dropout.  The large backside surface that mates to the dropout face features a radius on the complete outer edge.  This prevents an otherwise sharp cornered (90º square) edge from marking or gouging the painted, powder coated, or anodized finish of your frame.

Stainless steel washers are included with all Helix BMX Dropout Savers.

Dropout Savers (for SE / Race Inc.)

These Helix BMX Dropout Savers are designed to fit SE Racing & Race Inc. style aluminum dropouts with the oversize 1/2" slots.  This includes PK Ripper, Mini Ripper, Floval Flyer, Race, Inc., FMF, Cycle Pro Spoiler, Nomura, etc. 

Note:  If using these for SE Racing frames, please take note that they will only fit the old school "looptail" chainstay / seatstay design (as shown in the pics below).
